G&A Moulding Technology was founded in 1998 by John Goff and was acquired by RJG Inc. in 2015, changing the business name to RJG Technologies LTD in 2016. The business is widely recognised as an autonomous, impartial consultancy that offers world class support to the plastics industry.  This support is delivered via training and consultative injection moulding services and is underpinned by its Pro-Op™ process optimisation software.  RJG has Engineers operating throughout the world, with established customers in Europe, Asia and North America.

Our corporate culture promotes participation and cooperation in developing the business and we are focused on education via a thorough understanding of the injection moulding process, which we see as key to the survival of the polymer industry.  We recognise that a major challenge facing the Industry is maintaining a skilled staff base; this is the gap that RJG is focused to fill via our training and consultancy services.

This position will managed from our RJG facility in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire in the East of England but due to the nature of the role will require a large amount of travel to visit customers and potential customers.

Job Description/Summary
UK based Sales Manager with strong experience of technical plastic moulding, processes and associated plastics materials. This is an outstanding role to work with a market recognised and respected company. For this role we are seeking a sales professional to represent the business and sell the company’s training and product range across all UK/Ireland regions. Applicants should be self-motivated and target driven, possess good commercial or sales skills, and have good engineering education.

Education Experience
Qualified candidates should have 5+ years’ experience in a technical sales role.

Qualifications/Technical Experience

  • Strong background in technical sales in the Injection Moulding Industry
  • Knowledge of RJG equipment and software a positive attribute
  • Knowledge of the training environment within UK/Ireland

Certificates and Licences
Must have a valid driver’s licence and a driving record acceptable to the company

Additional Qualifications/Competencies

  • The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, energetic and willing to adapt to changing condition.
  • Well organised, good communication skills and excellent computer skills (Excel Word etc.)
  • High level of professionalism, self-driven, detail orientated and a quality conscious team player.
