RJG can offer Moldflow® engineering services bringing to the computer our real world expertise and experience to provide part design and injection moulding solutions. Our staff, through Moldflow® analysis, can evaluate all aspects of the part design and injection moulding process from gate size/location to reducing cycle times and identifying warpage issues. Ideal for those who want to reduce mould sampling costs and eliminate trial & error methods to enable a get it right the first time philosophy.

We can fully optimise your production requirements in terms of achieving product quality, cycle time predictions and effective component performance whilst in service.

Through our comprehensive analyses and Moldflow reports we can predict and recommend part filling profiles, clamping force requirements and use 3D technology for the challenging thick walled and complex parts. Gate locations can also be determined and gate sizes calculated to ensure optimum shear rates are maintained.
Cooling time requirements can be predicted by highlighting areas of additional venting and predicting weld line integrity.
Predict part volumetric shrinkage, calculate optimum holding pressures and time.  Understand warpage due to differential shrinkage.
Optimise cooling efficiency, highlight areas of poor cooling, determine water throughputs for optimum part quality.
